Bliss Media was engaged by the City of Greater Bendigo to conduct a digital strategy for improving information architecture for the new website, facilitate the development of the site and to develop a content strategy. In developing these recommendations, we reviewed the City of Greater Bendigo’s digital strategic vision, operating model, digital capability and internal capabilities.
Stakeholder Workshops &
The process began with a series of meetings with the core stakeholders and project owners. These meetings established the desired outcomes. The next stage of the digital strategy process was a series of meetings with representatives from all council business. In these meetings, the participants were presented with the outcomes of the steering committee meetings, and asked how these matched with their own perceptions of the direction the website should take. Stakeholders were then asked a series of questions about the website experience from the perspective of the users for whom the stakeholders were responsible. A series of community engagement sessions were conducted, both online and in person.
Web Transformation & Recommendations.
We then developed site Information Architecture and Wireframes based on the outcomes of the workshops. In addition, we provided the City of Greater Bendigo with detailed documentation based on our expertise and understanding of the digital space, and information gained through the audit, workshops and wireframe usability testing conducted. We also led a number of technical worskhops and assisted with CMS selection and recommendations for the new website.
